How To Play CardXray Holdem Poker
Structure of the game Pocket
Cards
In "$10-20" limit Hold'em",
each player is dealt two private or “pocket” cards,
face down. The first two players behind the dealer must post
blind bets of $5 and $10, respectively, and each player in
turn must either fold, call the current bet, or raise an additional
$10.

The Flop
On the completion of that first betting
round, three community cards, collectively known as the flop,
are dealt face up on the table, and another betting round
ensues, where all bets and raises are exactly $10 (one small
bet).

The Turn
Another card, called the turn, is dealt
face up, followed by a betting round where all bets and raises
are doubled to $20 (one large bet).

The River
A final river card is dealt face up,
followed by a final betting round at $20. If more than one
player is still active (ie. has not folded), the hole cards
are exposed and the winner is determined by the best five-card
poker hand, using any combination of the two private cards
and the five community cards.

Betting Structure
Limit Hold'em
In limit Hold’em a maximum of four
bets is allowed per player during any betting round. This
includes a (1) bet, (2) raise, (3) re-raise, and (4) cap,
but in No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Hold'em there is no
limit to the number of raises that a player can make. The
only limit is that the player cannot raise himself. If all
the other players in the hand only call or fold, the player
would not get an option to raise, because the last raise was
done by him.
Pot Limit Hold'em
Minimum eligible raise: The
raise amount must be at least as much as the previous bet
or raise in the same round. As an example, if the first player
to act bets $100 then the second player must raise a minimum
of $100 (total bet of $200).
Maximum eligible raise: The
size of the pot, which is defined as the total of the active
pot (which can be either the main pot or the side pot depending
on whether anyone has gone “all-in”) plus all
bets on the table plus the amount the active player must first
call before raising.
No Limit Holdem
Minimum raise: The raise amount must
be at least as much as the previous bet or raise in the same
round. As an example, if the first player to act bets $100
then the second player must raise a minimum of $100 (total
bet of $200).
Maximum eligible raise: The size of your
stack (your chips on the table) |
